FPV flying @ Greenock Donnies with my Alien 500 Quadcopter
After weeks having fun with my little Hubsan X4 mini quadcopter, I decided to upgrade to something with a little more kick, the trial & error I had will be outlined in this post, hopefully it will help others that’s having issues getting off the ground!
This build is focused on the X525 Quadcopter build with the KKMulticopter V5.5 Blackboard flight controller running XCopter v4.7 firmware by kapteinkuk
Paddy & Myself took our first road trip through to Falkland to check out the bike park, We had a brilliant day out and loads of fun, few crashes but everything was great. Filmed on GroPro 3 (white) (720-50fps)
Took the Forme Sterndale (1.0) up through the glen for a self edit using the GrPro (hero 3 white).
The sun was shining the bike was all oiled ready for some action, I headed up through the Auchmountain glen, setup the tripod in various places and let it rip.
We took the bikes & travelled north to the small village of Tyndrum, best known as a rest stop for the hordes of tourists and skiers passing north to Glen Coe, Fort William and Skye.

A few weeks back I stumbled on this forum thread at the replica prop forum, Darkside501st released his pepakura paper/foam files, this my build…
Big thanks to Darkside501st for the files,
(if you want to build your own suit, visit the forum and talk to Darkside, he will give you the password to the pepakura designer files,
this will allow you to scale and re-size the pieces to fit you.)
Thanks to my amazing wife for this brilliant gift, it was my first & hopefully not my last, bungee jump.
This year I turned 36, I’ve never had the opportunity or the funds to go out my way for a bungee jump, this year I didnt have to!
