Was v. helpful to find the rapidshare still worked too!

Instead of following the “Installing the Maps” process , I used “Garmin City navigator Europe 2009 NT” by voyager56 (PirateBay) & your keygen1.5 with mapid=378 => creating a gmapsupp.unl . The two PB files are gmapbmap.img (104mB) and gmapsupp.img (1604mB). The first can replace the samename one in the rapidshare dload (its the bigger world wide version). The second as it says on the tin, is the Europe NT 2009 version . Copy all 3 into garmin folder on N95 and it just works. Great, but now of course I’d like the Europe 2011 maps version.

Saw on a garmin site faq that Garmin have stopped producing updated maps for Garmin Mobile XT. The faq article was dated about oct2010.

The site also has a dload for the (latest/last ever version) “Garmin Mobile XT for Symbian S60 3rd Edition, Ver. 5.00.50, as of Apr 15, 2009″ with a warning that it won’t recognise non-G gps hw, and *might* even cause damage if an installalation repeatedly fails.

So, questions (for anybody with a bigger brain than me):

Q1: what is the latest map version (eg PB is full of “europe 2011.30″ @the moment) that this GarminMobileXTforSymbianS603rdEdition_42020 will handle?

Q2: will the keygen1.5 unlock the garmin site’s ver 5.00.50 on a N95?

Q3: if Q2=y, will 5.00.50 handle later maps than 4.20.20 (..and what’s the latest)?

Anybody have some facts?

What mapping program are we talking about?
