hi, Marcus

I contacted the guys at ghost2fitter.co.uk
told them my trouble, and what i'd expect in return,

I did however, tell them that they could keep the lite-on drive, after they managed to get the extracted files..
after all I did kill it.

this cost me postage to their place, and paypal for a few bux
they had a very fast turnaround, at getting this info to me..

which btw, they emailed it through, after phoning me just to make sure the email address i gave them was ok..

btw.. i did another lite-on drive last night. (Monday)
this time i didn't use the soldering iron..

I used a small hot glue gun..
got my wife to hold my wires in place. and glued the wires to the bridge points at this stage the glue was warm and stuck well.. this gave me the 2 mins I needed to get the drive info onto the pc using the CK3

then after I was done with the drive the wires & glue came off with no bother..

After i tried to solder my 2 wire bridge on the lite-on drive i found that being hung over and trying to solder don't mix, so i ripped off a tiny resistor just next to the bridge point and i knew straight away that i killed it..

my only option (i thought) was to contact the best people i knew to fix it www.ghost2fitter.co.uk. they removed the drive chip and were able to attach it, to either another drive or a programmer and extracted the information i need to get an older ms28 drive spoofed, which was a snap after i got the files...

so after all the panic and a few bux later it was all sorted the xbox was working with the newly flashed ms28 drive.

cheers guys..
